Yeah. Yeah. It has been six weeks since Lucy’s arrival, and I feel like we are just starting to adjust to this new life. Yeast attacked Lucy’s mouth, prompting a gentian violet treatment that turned things even worse. Fourty-some sores later, her mouth is currently without any ill side effects. Breastfeeding with yeast in my milk ducts felt like ice picks in my bone marrow. Like nursing needed to get more difficult. Luckily, we are on the up and up.
Easter was a long time ago, but with a newborn it seems like it was yesterday. Betty got to meet the Easter Bunny and eat twenty chocolates. Basically, it was her favorite day, and keeps asking for more egg hunts. This lucky girl got one more with ther best buddy, Paige.
