“Bring Your Dolly to Tea” was certainly an event. The youngest there by nearly half a decade, Betty was polite while enjoying the finger sandwiches. She drank nearly a pint of half and half from Dolly’s tea cup.
A quick potty trip at the hour’s end proved profitable. While back at the table, she leaned over and whispered, “I went doo-doo!” Our friend at the table, Amanda, was shocked, albeit happy, and said, “Betty, there’s no saying ‘doo-doo’ at high tea.” With that, Betty Rose exclaimed, “No doo-doo at high tea” over and over until the waitress promptly brought the check.
