I seem to remember that this sailing dinghy was purchased at a boat show held in one of the twin towers, long ago. Now, it has been reborn. After traveling from Long Island Sound to Puget Sound (with the help of pavement) & nearly sinking last summer, this radical rower/sailer is back in business. We’ve named her the Lucy May, fitting, since the San Juan is named the Elisabeth Rose. Last weekend we traveled the mile and a half to the Cove and launched her, successfully.
We picnicked, played in the sand and took turns bringing her about. What fun!
